FAQ

Disconnect the charger from the battery
Place and hold finger on Select-TOUCH sensor. The selected voltage LED brightens to confirm touch.
After 3 seconds the voltage selection changes, then SAVE (#3), CHARGE (#4) and TEST (#6,7, 8) LEDs flash twice to confirm selection is in memory.
The selection remains even if AC power is lost.

Disconnect the charger from the battery first, before making the selection with the touch button.

OptiMate 6 is the best charger for starter and deep cycle batteries.

For 12V batteries : Overnight charge (12h) : max battery capacity 50Ah. Max recommended size (24h) : 100 Ah. For 24V batteries : Overnight charge (12h) : max battery capacity 30Ah. Max recommended size (24h) : 60 Ah

The time required for the OptiMate 6 to complete the charge of a 12v-50Ah battery should take no more than about 10 hours. Deep-discharged batteries may take significantly longer.
The time required for the OptiMate 6 to complete the charge of a 24v-25Ah battery should take no more than about 10 hours. Deep-discharged batteries may take significantly longer.
